Eliza headed off to kindergarten today. She’s officially a big girl and the only tears that were shed came from Katie, who was grieving the fact that she has to wait until tomorrow to start junior kindergarten.

The girls and our neighbor girls, Joy & Jennifer. Jennifer is attending a Korean preschool, but Joy is in kindergarten with Eliza. They are sweeties!

Eliza and her teacher. Her teacher moved to China (from Australia) on Friday morning. She started teaching today (Monday). I’m sure she’s more than 1000% exhausted!

Katie in her classroom- this is a brand new school so everything is soooo nice!  We’re excited to use the new facilities this year!

Keith’s class.   He has two TA’s this year (yay for him!).  And a bigger class- 18 kids.  This is considered “really big”.

I think this is adorable- two girls in Keith’s class wore the same outfit (and matching pigtails, to boot!) today.  They did not plan it and were a little embarrassed when they realized it!   This is the risk of shopping in the Korean stores here!  Eliza was given a dress last year and wore it the last day of school.  Another little girl had the same dress on- both purchased from a local Korean store!

Have a great “beginning of school”!

I am confused. I have not read your blog in a bit and do you have 3 daughters? I remember Katie and Libby and I am seeing Eliza. Do you have something mixed up?

Hope everyone had a wonderful day….your last one with Katie before school. It doesn’t seem that long ago, that she was just a little one in your arms. Keith has a great looking class. I know they will love Mr. G. and learn much from him.

Hugs to all….and Miss Eliza (Libby) we hope your day was very special, too.

What wonderful pictures Kimberly…our two year old gd feels the same as Katie when her big brother who’s six leaves for his class and she can’t go too. Her two days a week school will start this week.

Keith’s class is wonderful…it’s great he has two TA’s. I’m sure those children will enjoy his class and learn so much.

Eliza and Katie and their friends are so adorable…and Katie’s classroom looks marvelous. I’m sure she’ll have a ball. I know it will be an adjustment to be child-free for part of the day, but you’ll fill time up with worthwhile activities, I’m sure. Enjoy!!!!

I hope they had a great day!

I dropped all THREE off this morning, can you believe it??

Alex was the only nervous one. Adam was happily playing with playdoh when we left.

Girl, my girl baby is a Sophomore in High School and my boy baby is starting Middle School on Wednesday.

I’d give my left arm for a Kindergartner. It’s going too fast!
